Canada Set to Defend Title at Men’s Senior Pan American Volleyball Cup
Canada, ready to defend its title at the 17th Men’s Senior Pan American Volleyball Cup, competes from July 14 to 21 in Santo Domingo at the “Professor Ricardo Gioriber Arias” Volleyball Palace.
In the previous edition, Canada, claiming its first title in the competition’s history by defeating Brazil 3-1 in the final, had historically lost the final match three times (2008, 2009, 2022), while Chile secured its first-ever medal last year by winning the bronze against Mexico.
The tournament, serving as a qualifier for the 2025 NORCECA Continental Championship, the 2025 Pan American Cup, and the 2027 Pan American Games, features ten teams split into two groups, with group winners advancing to the semifinals and second and third places competing in the quarterfinals.
